With the exception of very few thing, which I always repaired myself at home as they were not important for each tour (in most cases it had to do with maintenance), my Unimog has proven to be very good. Overall, the vehicle is very reliable and it never let me down; thanks to the proverbial Unicat-quality everything still works like on the first day, and visually (thanks to good care!) it still looks like new. Therefore I want to give high praise to all Unicat employees!<br>During the planning phase special attention was given to the winter performance of the vehicle: for example, the diesel tank, the water tank and the waste water pipes, as well as the diesel filter, are heated. An additional underfloor heating and a heating coil under the mattress significantly increase the comfort when the climate is very cold. Despite sub-zero temperatures like -36\u00b0C felt during the Lappish Winter, I never had a problem with the vehicle &#8211; thanks to the built-in pre-heating engine a motor launch was even at such extreme temperatures always guaranteed.<br>If the vehicle could be built again, it would be built again for sure by Unicat. I would only change some small details that more likely have to do with technical progress as it would be relatively easy to retrofit.
