corpi UNICAT sono stati realizzati interamente da pannelli sandwich con strati superiori in fibra di vetro rinforzata in poliestere (GFRP).<br>I pannelli erano collegati all\u2019esterno e all\u2019interno con profili angolari incollati realizzati con lo stesso materiale, in modo che i problemi di corrosione e le sollecitazioni termiche fossero strutturalmente escluse.<br>Molte delle primissime cellule abitative sono ancora in funzione oggi, e molte di esse hanno visto\u00a0 il mondo intero.<br>I comprovati vantaggi dei pannelli sandwich li hanno fatti divenire un materiale standard.<br>Ma la loro connessione a creare una struttura stabile e senza ponti termici richiede di pi\u00f9.<br>I pannelli del pavimento UNICAT sono rinforzati da un telaio in tubolare d&#8217;acciaio, che consente un collegamento forte e permanente con il montaggio a pavimento.<br>In UNICAT, i pannelli sandwich vengono assemblati senza l&#8217;uso di inserti in legno che, se usati, creerebbero inevitabili ponti termici freddi.<br>Ci\u00f2 si traduce in uno sforzo di installazione significativamente maggiore, che viene per\u00f2 ripagato nell&#8217;uso quotidiano.<br>Le porte e le finestre UNICAT sono dotate di\u00a0 angoli rinforzati, speciali cerniere antifurto, doppie guarnizioni, vetri isolanti e chiusura regolabile multipunto.<br>Oggi UNICAT non produce solamente semplici\u00a0 cellule abitative seguendo specifici progetti\u00a0 standardizzati creati per i clienti, ma possono essere disponibili anche estensioni laterali, swing-out, flip-out, tetti pieghevoli e
